Call of duty is medal of honour anyway, and they're both shite anyway. But if you like intensely scripted snoring shooters then go nuts. I heard that modern warfare 1 at least added some excitement but all that can be is gloss to the tripe.
Hidden and Dangerous is a real series.

The new medal of honor is apparently about a special operations soldier fighting in modern day Afghanistan, participating in an actual current war. This is somewhat different than to MW/MW2 which aren't grounded in reality at all (aside from the first game having a modern setting).
It's an FPS so I'd assume the missions and whatever will be total fantasy, but I dunno how the hell you can base a game around Operation Enduring Freedom or whatever and include a Russia-invades-America scenario.
