Hello my beloved taffers! I don't want to steal any bit of your precious private time against your will, but I really need your help. The thing is, my teacher asked me if I can make decent texts in English in order to get straight Ais. So I need some help from a native English speaker. But this is not the only case, of course you might answer "why won't you find a friend from some special English-learning site, bro", but you know, it would be a real honor to meet people from here, who could actually be my comrades, at least from Thief point of view. If you're interested, please, don't ignore my massage and send me a hint here (
https://vk.com/alexanderskopin) or on Skype: Alexander Skopin (a guy with black glasses). Thank you!

I'm not a native speaker but I guess it would be useful to know where you live? Teaching someone a language over the internet is awfully close to work.

I live in a small town not far from Saint-Petersburg, Russia. Kolya, I'm not asking for teaching, just to check out some little text once in a while (like once in two weeks or so), and maybe also for chat, to get to know someone from the Thief community, but closer than just "what's the weather today and blablaba", you know. I am an introvert looking for closer relationships, frankly speaking. Learning English while chatting is just a bonus :)

I see. Well the real meeting point for Thief fans is the (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=83) Thief Series General Discussion subforum. A few of them also come here, but not many. You might also want to try your luck there. The other thing is that it may not be useful to ask people for a close relationship right from the start - it happens or doesn't. But of course there may be people like you, looking for a connection with a fellow thief fan.
I'm neither a Thief fan nor looking for a deep relationship, but I wish you good luck.

I'd prefer to meet old people. At least they've got some experience and points that have nothing to do with a fucking Xbox.
(Did this help?)

What the heck is the "fucking Xbox" anyway? Never heard of that, nope.
Renzatic on 13/9/2017 at 07:31
It's a thing that Queue does. Best not question it.

The "X" in that context is just a placeholder though. Could be any box or even vaguely box shaped thing, person or animal.

I've heard rumors its all slang for woodchucking.

This just in: thread title does not, in fact, read as 'Meating new people'.
