I'll have to agree with Elentari. You don't have to cry about an already made up "history". It would be more understandable, if King Arthur and Merlin stuff was actually true. But since it's not, it's really great for a show. I only wish they had put more quality to this show.
Hmm, speaking of Doctor Who, it's one of my favourite science fictions. All those unexplainable paradoxes, heheh. :D

QUIT changing the thread title biker! Every time I'm about to post something pertinent, you change it.
Now, what I'd like to know is, does it have rope arrows? Otherwise I'm not playing!

Heh Yeah. I really like SG1. Atlantis better, but hey. Though their camelot/merlin interpretation got a 'say what???' from me. lol
Cool. I didn't realize that movie had gotten Merlin in there at all. I remember seeing that guy. But then -none- of the characters were what we're used to, so I'm not hugely surprised I missed it. And no, I'm not going back to watch it again. I really didn't care for that one. lol

Lol, now I remember why I don't venture into Thief Gen that often.
Whaaaat? You didn't like my little neener? *sniffs* I thought he was cute! And the closest I could find to one thumbing his nose. lol Who can't think he's cute? No! Don't answer that. At this rate it'll spark another debate.

That is what I object to. That starts infringing on others rights to like or dislike what they want to. ...No one is telling him he cannot like it. In fact he can dislike it all he wants, and even speak of it. But when his opinions start crossing over and telling me what to think and that I have no right to watch and enjoy about it just because he happens to disagree, that is going to far and I will fight it.
No, see, I'm not saying you can't like it. I'm saying that if you DO like it: A. You're stupid. And B. You don't get to complain about other adaptations.
So if, for example: a film version of "Thief: The Dark Project" gets greenlit, starring Will Smith as Garrett: the wisecracking bank robber with a heart of gold, Shia LaBeouf as his bumbling but well-meaning sidekick, and Tom Cruise as the evil CEO of the bank that they rob. Car chases and wacky hijinks ensue. YOU DON'T GET TO BITCH ABOUT IT. YOU LIKED THE BBC'S "MERLIN." YOUR OPINION IS NULL AND VOID.
See?

If Paris Hilton stars as Viktoria, then you may be on to something.

Hey, maybe eventually he'll change it to something without any typos in it.

In your dreams, methinks. :)
As it's now Saturday, I might have a look and see what the fuss is about.
