Trying to change the texture of a standard FemaleNoble2 AI with a different texture, entered the renderer/meshtex box and put in femnob2 for the texture in model and then the new texture neeeded and get the irritating warning that it cant bloody well find femnob2....it is in the txt16 folder of the mesh folder...I looked...grrrr.:p

The female noble 2 model is noblew02.bin, and you must open it in a hex editor (open up mesh.crf first to find it) to see that the texture is named NobleW02.gif, which is what should go on the first line in Mesh textures.

I see, I was using femnob2.bmp directly from the txt16 folder...damn, thank you.

And just in case you aren't already doing this, in the meshtex boxes you must include the file extension (.gif, .png, etc.)

Trying to replace it with DarkFates veaif2a.png but now have the red error failed to load image resourse data..blah, blah, blah bit...I am not having a good day at all.

It would help if you would say exactly what you did, or it will be difficult for anyone to see what you might need to do to fix it.

I found these drop in replacements from Purgator...(
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=140216&page=8) (scroll down to 180) right clicked and saved as...acording to the blurb but if you try to open them they are blank, hence the problem I suppose.

I think what Tannar meant here is not where you got the skin from, but exactly where you put the file, what you're doing in Dromed in the Mesh textures property, etc. Also, a lot of your recent questions have been ones that are easily answered with a search here, which gets you the info you need faster than waiting on a reply. We just want to enable you to help yourself. =)

The ones that I am trying Larry are the female ones just below...I just cannot get them to work?? but I must admit, I havent tried..Doug and Dinsdale
