What the fuck?
Did you actually say "God of Castlevania?"

But still, they've given Samus a voice and knowing the Japanese, likely an insufferable personality too. Ugh, bring back the HL-style blank slate mute.
See, I think I'm past the point where I expect that sequels to beloved nostalgic childhood games will ever come close to matching the feelings of their predecessors. No GAME, let alone a Metroid game, will ever top Super Metroid so I'll just have to settle for it being good. I can handle the changes so long as the package doesn't suck.
And despite the vocal minority, Prime 3 was/is a damn good game.

Oh for fuck's sake. That looks awesome, what the fuck is wrong with you? IT'S CASTLEVANIA WHAT DO YOU EXPECT. And at least this time it won't suffer from Halo map design syndrome like Lament of Innocence.

God of Castlevania and now this :(
Have you even played Castlevania before? You play as a manly man fighting Dracula, the mummy, Frankenstein's monster, werewolves, Medusa, etc. with a goddamn upgradable FLAMING CHAIN WHIP and throwing knives/axes/holy water/whatever.
There is no better franchise suited to become an Extreme Combat title than this one. Hell I'd say this is closest to the original NES/SNES/Mega Drive games that we've seen in years. Castlevania jumped the shark by becoming like Metroid.

Castlevania :(
WELL THAT'S WHAT YOU'RE FUCKING GETTING.
god damn I really
am the only person who
actually likes games besides gunsmoke.
And CV did
not jump the shark with SotN, EU02. Quite the opposite. God forbid we get more games like Metroid.

You like Invisible War, but not Half-Life 2 and now you're whining about CV being actiony. Your opinion is invalid and you aren't deserving of love.
Fragony on 6/6/2009 at 11:27
Half-life 2 was ok, enjoyed it enough to play the episodes as well. But Castlevania should be about exploring a castle, more then enough brainless beat'em ups if that's your thing.
