Interesting, I just installed that update. Is that to say that Thief 2 should work out of the box now on W7?

thanks for the update, i never knew this existed for Win7 as well.....I could get the thief gold version to run with assigning it to one core, other than that I didn't have problems on win7 x64 but this is certainly appreciated.

hmm, Thief 2 is listed in the Vista/2008 table not in the W7 table.

i tried to install it but win7 said that I already have it :) !!!!
i did not start thief2 on win7 yet, only thief1 which works when you assign it to one core

Huh. Here I am with automatic updates turned off since 2009. Maybe this'll actually help me.
I'd love to be able to play T2 again. I can play TGold but not 2. Very frustrating.

It doesn't seem to have changed much if anything for getting Thief 2 to work on my Windows 7 system, but then again it wasn't under the W7 update section.
