Being a HUGE fan of Might and Magic 4 - 7 (not so much after that), I like the sound of this one ASLONG as they learn their lesson from the last few games. Darkside of Xeen will forever be one my favorite old school PC rpgs of all time.
Don't agree with much of what the above RPS article says however. The Heroes of Might and Magic games were good hell yeah, but not AS good as the M&M series. Plus the heroes games of late went JRPG crossed with Puzzle Quest and have next to nothing to do with the original series bar the name.

Neither does this game. Ubisoft rebooted the series with HoMM5 and Dark Messiah.
BTW, Clash of Heroes (the one with animus) is not part of the HoMM series; HoMM6 even goes back to the HoMM3 well.

Ah k I stand corrected on HoMM, I thought Clash of Heroes was the next entry despite it having nothing at all in common with the previous HoMM games.
Wasn't Dark Messiah a spin off and not part of the M&M series? I thought it was.
