Ouch. My condolences. I only lost some pretty rudimentary interiors in my death cone and I've been too demoralized for the past couple of days to redo it. You're one of the more prolific crafters around though so I'm sure you'll have too many new building ideas to stay away for long!
Edit: looking at the pictures again, especially the fourth and fifth ones... damn, that's a lot of work.
On the other hand a tragic fire gives a haunted house some proper spooky history.

How did a chicken wander in ON FIRE?
Don't worry. Come back to the village and help me build a submersible from solid iron a la Das Boot / 20 000 leagues under the sea.

Also keep projects small in case there are "hiccups", that's my motto.

People are awesome.
Well some of them.

More griefing. A guy called starzucker or whatever gets on, asks a few questions to which he got perfectly friendly answers, then sets everything flammable he can see on fire and logs out. There goes the awesome treehouse right next to spawn, and what was left of pardoner's hourglass after it was previously griefed.

Edit: I'm slow.
