Yeah I actually ran into a moderately sized slime the other day, but I only saw one.
Not sure which track you are referring to. Do you mean the one on the ground, as apposed to the one on the skyway that leads to old town?

I have yet to ever see a slime, WETF they are.
I guess they're relatively new?
Or maybe I'm not exploring like I used to and sticking to areas I've already domesticated.
I have run into a patch of 14 pumpkins though.
That's the kind of thing that will get walled & a designated path built straight to it from home, lol. Such is the economic thinking of Minecraft.

After a few weeks downtime for my server, its back up.
BH: if you want to send the server files over to me, I can see how it runs on my box. Since I'm running Multiverse, I can just add it as another world in my server.
I'd like to get the crew back together, so I should mention that /playerlist works on my server. I'll be working on adding mods to the server, but right now this is what I'm running:
Multiverse // as some of you know, this is multi-world... normal or nether :D
iConomy // you can /sell items for money... i don't have it all set up yet, but has potential
General
Permissions
PickBoat // boats drop boats instead of wood and sticks
I'm waiting for the new Multiverse update (should be in the next few days) so I can update my craftbukkit version and replace General with Essentials (which I like better, but it doesn't work with my current build), and install HeroChat & CraftIRC (both dont work with my craftbukkit build).
also I finally switch my domain registrar to networksolutions (which allows advanced DNS for free :D) so the server address is now:

What's General, Permissions (sounds self explanatory, but just asking), HeroChat, CraftIRC, and Essentials???
I'm really not into mods (other than texture pack mods) for minecraft... Although I liked the /playerlist function that BH's server used to have.
oh, and if anyone hasn't been on BH's server in a while, I'd encourage you to come check out the skyway (walk it, check out the scenery) and the bit of progress made near the obsidian pyramid

Cool thing is that you can tell the game to "not now" for the update. (I can still get on the server since I did that, until I decide to update.)

Oh yes, I also noticed the other day a new Merch link at the top of the minecraft site. Notch apparently partnered with some site to have some official t-shirts. (No i'm not talking about the thinkgeek ones.)
