Yeah, it felt awkward having played the game for a while and then having to get achievements for things that I'd already done, but on the plus side it gave me something else to do. I still need to get that "ride a pig off a cliff" achievement
Well, if what I've heard is true, there will be at least two modes down the road. Creative (perhaps what you want dethtoll), and survival mode. It needs to be obvious though, let the player choose from the game menu.

So, I've been playing on another server for a while now - does anyone still play regularly on any of the unofficial TTLG servers?

I've hopped on for a few minutes (anodal) occasionally to see if anyone is online, and they usually aren't. I've kind of lost interest in minecraft. (hopefully the adventure update will change that.) But if you type /seen username, then you can see when that player was last on. I know that some friends of mine get on it (at least occasionally)

Which server would that be, if you don't mind me asking? I've been looking for a decent server for a while, what with the TTLG one being almost always empty and with such an old map.
The public servers I've tried usually feel too overpopulated and don't have such a great community, while smaller servers like this are usually related to some community outside of minecraft, but generally have nicer players, the problem being that you're not going to know about it unless you belong to that community.

I still play on the server. So do a few of my friends. We're on there pretty much every day. There's still activity, it's just all far away from spawn.
What's going on with the map, BH? It updated once ages ago, but it hasn't changed since. :erg:

I will wipe anodal with the adventure update, although I will try to keep some of the existing buildings which are still being worked on.

I turned off the map generation, not sure exactly why. I'll update it now (it should take a day or so) and bring back the daily update.

You mean the anodal google map?
How can you selectively wipe a world? :confused: Are you talking about manually going in with the map editor program and deleting things as you see fit?
