Yep, I've been reading about that. Notch seems to think it was acted on by just the legal department (he said he still loves Bethesda) not understanding his game and that it's a silly mistake. He's taking it seriously but in a playful, not angry kind of way. Case in point, he wants to have a quake 3 match to decide whether to drop the lawsuit or not!

Can someone explain those comics to me? They've been popping up on TTLG every now and then usually involve one of the same 3 characters just speaking random gibberish. I... don't get it.

It is a dumb cartoon filled with violence and immature jokes breaking the third wall, a reach-around college & boards of self-aware cartoon characters. Like some kind of postmodern (vs. modern) homophobia as some would surely argue it really is a sine qua non of postmodernity. It's dope and poo, full of meta-awareness ("obvious consciousness") and self-referential irony which sucks cocks in the big stall. Pretending some kind of meta-pop hyperawareness when it's just a whole batch of sacks full of wet socks, yeah it's pretty much poo then.

Ahahaha motherfuckers, your buildings are safe. I mean (besides being drunk like a cuckold MILF), I tried importing some buildings@anodal into a solo world using MCEdit, and it works like a charm. I'm dependent on MCEdit being ported to 1.8 when the update comes - I'm hoping this shouldn't take too long, meaning I'll be able to import some of the current buildings we have on our server into a fresh new world as easily as making plum jam (of which I made almost 2 delicious kilograms yesterday, so that's pretty easy).
So if you're not Saiyanjedi or papa_luigi or Boxsmith and would like to see one of your (currently worked-on) buildings preserved when transitioning to 1.8, feel free to send me a PM.
