WTH is this chicken doing down here? The map notes my depth. This isn't the first one I've found, either. I assume he fell into a water hole that somehow streams all the way down here, but wow.

And before you ask, that's Dokucraft. Despite not saying so on the boards etc, the Dokucraft continuation project is up to date up to 1.9p4. You can select what weapons you want if you dont like my embellished diamond sword.

Could be fake...who knows!

That can't possibly be real.

Based on the making of video: (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=JuNMNjGOvnM) it seems they claim it to be real ... 1000+ frames with most frames having very little changes. At least it is possible.
edit: it appears their server is public and they have done many other stop-motion vids.

It looks like the server hasn't been updated yet to 1.1. I don't know if anyone has brought it up in a PM or not but thought I'd mention it here just in case. Whenever I try to join it shows the server with a "communication error" and i also get an "invalid server key" message.

Sorry for the delay, the server was just updated.

I have shut down the TTLG Minecraft server hosted at
anodal.org.
We had a good run. During the 20 months it remained (more or less) up and running, we lived through many alpha releases, we lived through beta and through the official release. Once lost without a trace within the infinite halls of the internet, once killed with a huge bang only to see it reborn on a halloween day, it was only logical to see it go through a final, long, cold and agonizing death.
After two weeks without a single login, after coming to terms with my growing disinterest for Minecraft, I thought it was time to move on.
A huge thanks to the 70+ different souls that spent some of their time here.
A huge thanks to all those who donated money last year and kept it running.
I think (
http://www.ttlg.com/forums/showthread.php?t=137647&page=1) dethtoll's server is now the place where TTLG people still meet, here's to hoping it stays that way.
A copy of the world in its current state can be (
http://anodal.org/minecraft/map/TTLG_new_anodal.zip) downloaded here (421 MB zip).
(

First off, I want to thank you for hosting a server for us. I spent a lot of time on that server.
I had a feeling this was going to happen. Every time I checked online the server was empty, and just the other day I tried to check it out but it said "communication error" and I wasn't able to connect. I thought that maybe the server went down for good and now I see it has.
Also, thanks for providing a copy of the world.:thumb:

What sneaksie said.
You ran an excellent server, and I lost an absurd amount of time to it. Thank you. I'll miss anodal very much. :)
