Have been really-really busy lately (birthday cluster among other things - including 88 & 99 :D ) - no time for, well, anything i would like to do :( Should be back to normal within a week.

Just looked around in the server (some griefers have got in, but nothing too bad yet) - is it just me or is the google-map been down for days? New, impressive, stuff everywhere.

Slightly OT: Did a bit of experimenting in singleplayer minecraft a while ago. Used every trick i know of to create a SuperMobFarm(tm). Finished it today => 2500-3000 items per hour x_x.

PAYBACK TIME ... for all the times some green dick catapulted me into lava!

Just a constant stream of stuff coming in. Pretty funny to watch how mobs fight for a place in the 12-slot cactus enhanced drowner and clearly not having enough room for all to fit in there :D (drownder is the last stage, most get killed by fall or just severely damaged).

According to his (http://www.minecraft.net/stats.jsp) stats, Minecraft has sold around 400,000 copies at $15 a piece. That's six million freakin dollars going to one man for a game that isn't even out of alpha yet! On top of that, he's pulling in around 100,000 bucks per day.

Greetings all! I finally decided to stop being a cheapskate and have just put the finishing touches on my new custom avatar (which bears an uncanny likeness to my real self). Now I'm ready to get into the minecraft world in full force. I'm usually on one of my friend's servers, but I'll probably be dropping by the TTLG one every now and then to explore the world. Hope the game is treating everyone well. I've had fun checking out the screenshots that have been posted up so far. :thumb:

I have begun work on my rather large Dam project, I think I may have bitten off significantly more than I can chew here. Getting rid of water in this game is kind of fucked. As a rough calculation it would require 13,000 blocks of wood to fill in the area I had originally marked out, at this point it's going to be much, much less, because that's going to take for ever.

Also, I'm going to be setting this shit on fire in a day or so, I'm assuming that a huge fuckoff fire isn't an issue as long as it's in the middle of nowhere and surrounded by water and sand.

Yeah, fire bad.

I burn the excess leaves in my farm and the server has a noticible sluggishness to it when it happens.
