That's completely insane in a wonderful way.

What's the go with nasties on our map? I hear the occasional zombie when I'm digging deep, but I'm yet to see anything at all.

In SMP monsters spawn from spawn cages but not in the dark like normal.

On this map, anyway. I remember them being less retarded before the reset. Had a spider follow me all the way through Alpine Estates like a lost puppy.

I haven't played this game yet but I've been paying attention to some of the videos and threads and after watching (
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LnjSWPxJxNs) this I can't help but ask: is all the wood in the game super-combustible? That went from what they call around here a "cool burn" to a "crown fire" in 30 seconds...

I've never really had a problem with fire, but it sure can spread fast. There's no reason for wood to just spontaneously burst into flames though, so we're still wondering if someone is being an arse, or if there is a crack team of arsonist chickens roaming the wilderness.
From looking at videos and such, it seems to me that fire can transfer between blocks over a distance greater than you might expect though, and it's possible there is an element of carelessness in some cases too. Quite frankly, I haven't a frakkin clue and shouldn't have bothered posting.:laff:

Burning animals/mobs can not torch anything - and the open fire in the house was safe => someone is being an arse (including honest oops-mistake when staying silent about it).
