*Hides*I'm coming out with an update sometime today with a bunch of terrain.png updates and these gui stuff, so keep your eyes on this thread and you'll have a nice texturepack :P
Also, Notch has been talking alot about implementing server-gates, for cross-server travelling, which maybe possibly could be a thing to have here.. ? ;)

Yeah, it's all from scratch, oh and bitmap bros are damn awesome at that stuff, way beyond me.
My daywork entails more of the brown bloomy nextgen kind of art though.

I can only speak for myself, but I'm not playing due to the current state the game is in, I'm waiting for the smp stuff to be fixed, and for inventory to become server-side.
