I built a creeper-proof spawn shelter. It's there if you're a newbie and have nowhere to stay, or recently died and respawned at night. There's a workbench, furnaces and a community supply chest inside.
A few protips for using the building:
- If you're trying to enter, hit the entrance button as you move forward -- that way the door won't close before you get in. Don't stand, push the button and then try to get in.
- If you're already inside and see someone trying to get in, help them out by standing on a pressure plate.
- If /spawn doesn't get you inside the shelter, try again.
- If mobs are keeping you inside the building, use the other door, or
- Stand on a balcony to keep the mobs where the sun's light will hit them.
- Make sure to stand away from the doors -- the building was made to be creeper proof, but you never know what could go wrong.
That's it. Please stop by the shelter and drop whatever you can spare in the supply chest -- food, tools or weapons, preferably. If you take from the supply chest, make sure you only take what you need.

spawn shelter is a little..... off. i have yet to spawn in it and at one point i spawned in the lake next to it X)

That's really weird -- I always respawn on the shelter's roof. :S
Spawning in the lake doesn't really sound like the shelter's fault to me, though.

In there, of interest to MP game:
* Wield key mod
Provides a "panic" button. If pressed - a bow or sword is wielded (depending on your preference and what you have available). If you have both bow and sword then pressing the wield key again will swap between them. Bow is not an option if you do not have any arrows.
* Compass mod
Adds an alternate spawnpoint you can use with compass (Current spawnpoint is also saved in singleplayer - allowing thereby to move your spawpoint).
* Cloud control mod
Can alter cloud height or turn them off completely.
* default height for cloud cover is a few blocks above the maximum height you can build
* Path visualizer mod
The path you have taken can be shown on screen (animated, by default).
* helps in exploration
* if nothing else - then it is just strangely hilarious to watch the path :D
* the two letter class file is actually optional (if missing - depth testing will be disabled - ie. the path is visible trough walls and quite confusing because of that)
* Spawn-danger marker mod
Marks the spots that do not have enough non-sun light to prevent spawning.

So i have finished the Rail lines between my mine and the Tree house, im hoping to add more lines in that can take you from one end of town to the other. Only thing is i need LOTS of iron and the permission of those of you who want the lines running across your lands. I can run lines through mountains / hills if you wish it to be as out of sight as possible. You can see the test line running between the mine and tree house.
Let me know what you think :)
