Well it's not in Minecraft to begin with, and what's the point of painstakingly creating a transport system (and the point of hell - though it's not yet implemented) if going from A to B is as easy as typing a few words?

BH I think we are all mostly in agreement that warp and home should be removed.
I am all for it, because it would increase the value of exploration and put more focus into railways.
As a community we can pitch together and build a railway system to connect the towns. This is the route we should take. Remove the warps entirely.

@gunny That's what it's supposed to do already - can't check right now.
@alchy I'm glad the community agrees with that, that can only be a good thing. I'd like to leave warping to ops still. The big thing is that I've pretty much disappeared from Minecraft altogether for some time now. I don't have broadband at home anymore, I'm here using my phone as an access point but it's not enough to play Minecraft. Hope they will install the new DSL soon enough...
If I could be there more often, I would be able to see who uses warps and to remind them of the rules. Right now I'm completely in the dark wrt. what's happening on the server. Don't hesitate to PM me for rule proposals or any remark on how the server behaves.

I'm going to throw my vote in again for a new map (especially if we're running out of RAM again) and no warping of any kind. Let everyone grow a pair.
