if not fake, it seems to be a way to bait Notch into looking like a community-hating tyrant with his possible negative response. Dunno, something smells bad. Anything related to the 4chan community smells bad anyway.

The server has been a little silent lately so here's a few of screenshots that will hopefully lure a few more TTLGers to waste all their free time on virtual block buildings. The cottage town thus far has been made by me and Slinker. The fortress is mostly the courtesy of textmode, though I do help him now and then.
In the frozen tundra northeast of Boomtown lies the freshly sprung cottage town of Vinland.

Or you know, just to come take a look at what's going on. As a fair warning the location is quite far away, though, but you should be able to get there before the night if you leave as soon as the sun rises. The distance was a necessary evil to make use of the new trees and minerals in the latest updates.
