I propose we build, as a group, something -big- like a pyramid of Giza or somesuch sort of structure :)

Given what you can do with Minecraft I can't help but feel it's deserving of a project more imaginative than a large Pyramid and on a grander scaler than Baffords.

I was in the planning stages of a World Trade Center, with the goal of having it finished by Sept. 11 this year. Too much glass required, though.

Since my previous save go corrupted i started from scratch a week or two ago (?) - and it is even better :D

Map. Avoiding dry land like a creeper infested wasteland that it is. Built many temporary bases (more like holes in dirt) until finally settled - mostly because my clay collection was grown too big to carry (until then i never built storage boxes - just carried everything with myself where-ever i did go).

This map was quite lucky one. I found two dungeons in close proximity near surface, open - half filled with sand/gravel and the other half with water. :D

View from the non-natural sky island (surprisingly, no fall-deaths while building it). Hacked myself some grass tiles - everything else is honest hard work.

Sky island, with a cloud sailing below it. As seen in pic - it has also a looping water-lift (boat is coming down).

Too many rooms/buildings/secrets to list.

Everything is nearly complete - soon it is time to say goodbye to this world too. I kind of like the early days when there is never enough resources and everything is kind of still in process of forming.

I've just knocked the torches off of one of my platform's trees to see if it starts growing again.

Trees don't grow - they just kind of pop up. :p

Good stuff, zombe. Your world is very bright and colorful, does your game contain any graphical enhancements?

None. Although, for quite some time i used (http://www.minecraftforum.net/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=25676) dokus' texture pack - which i like very much (darker and less of angry-fruit-salad block design). Unfortunately, it is 32px texturepack - and my main building is out of brick. For spelunking time - it's just perfect :D
