Since Minecraft is free for the time being I decided to download it and have a look around TTLG-land. Got lost in Malf's basement, accidentally stole manwe's stuff(then returned it in a fit of bad concience :p) and was show around Alpine Village by lowsomethingman(whoever you are, thanks). :D
Exploring this world(and all the randomly generated ones in singleplayer) is fun, but I'm not convinced I wanna buy it just yet.

I know. I'm doing all I can but I fear there's just not enough RAM to keep hosting the server.

It is purely hand-made. It took me well over two weeks (18 days) - I lost the count of hours I spent on it, but I think it'd be above a hundred now.
And it aint ready yet. :sweat:

I have a spare dell next to my telly doing sweet FA, running Vista Home 64bit with 4GB. But I think my ISP may be the limit there, as Virgin have a nasty habit of capping bandwidth.
