So the Halloween update is upon us and with it, a lot of new possibilities with biomes (contiguous landmasses of forest, deserts, oceans, plains, mountains, snow landscapes).
Nothing much else new, but is it enough to wipe the current world and create a fresh new one?
You decide.

I voted yes because the biomes getting shoehorned in is making for some goofy-looking terrain as chunks change, and because biomes with existing buildings look a little weird as well. I'd like to see what people do with a new world with some different environments- the old one was built on a monoclimate and it shows.

Yes, after a couple of days has passed. Let people get used to the new changes.
Then start anew.

Goddammit. I spent a good few hours on making a big underground cavern for a project. Guess I needn't bother finishing. :(

I say yes, though I probably won't be playing much until some of the more annoying bugs are fixed.

The world just doesn't "feel right" at the moment. I voted yes, but would also prefer to wait a short while to make sure no multiplayer issues arise that would require a second wipe.

I voted yes, but I don't think there's any real hurry. Presumably notch will be focusing more on SMP next, so might as well wait for more stuff to be implemented and bugs to be fixed.

I vote yes, but after a few days - no hurry (i am exploring sp / modding). Also, BH, when the time comes - find a nice place (significant land presence with acess to large water area + snow + desert + etc nearby).

I agree, and preferably something with a few large beaches nearby.

How about we generate a nether-world this time around
