How do you get down into the caves and what to do with the thieves?
The_Dude on 17/12/2005 at 19:26
Ok I've locked the thieves away but the caves?

No Kill objective? Fine. But then why are the only items in my inventory instruments of death? I thought it was pretty ridiculous.
Arrows - can be just explained by plot (wayback home after hunting) or can be use to make noise (it's not T: DS :) )
Sword - can damage not only people...

BUT....gameplay? Hated it.
The authors had only a week to build something decent. The gameplay might not be balanced, yes.
Although
The Citadel (the only mission where you can't use your blackjack) was quite easy for me. That's probably because the timing of AI patrols is excellent in this FM. I could easily ghost this one.
A Winter Holiday might be difficult due to some hidden switches. Other than that, it was just pure fun! One just have to read the texts carefully.
The First Day of Winter has only one serious problem: there's not enough clues to inform the player about the possibility
to enter the house via roof. And because of that it is very difficult to handle the enemies at the beginning.
All those problems might be the result of the lack of time to polish these missions. If you like / don't like the gameplay, there's OVERALL IMPRESSIONS category in the voting form for you. :) Remember: these guys built decent architecture, added sounds, set AIs, objectives etc. in a week! I was expecting to see some tiny areas with one objective, instead I was presented with completed missions that have story, nice special effects and hidden goals. :)
I hope this will not prevent you from posting complaints. IMHO constructive criticism is always useful.

Sorry for the untranslated objective, I only had a couple of hours to do prepare the translations.

Don't apologise for this - it's not your fault. Better ask where did author have his eyes while preparing translated version! :)

What you have to do is not to harm your wife but just run away from home as far as you can :)

I still don't know how to get into the caves... :(
