Guys - download Thiefbot and use it to note the default difficulty settings on Expert. Then go into default.ini and adjust the values accordingly. It's not hard, I did it, and now Minimalist Project is perfect (with the wall-hug bug fixed, I am of the opinion that TDS is hard enough).
Check the Thief 3 tweak thread for more info.

I second Aja :)
Personally I found TDS with the Minimalist Project quite challenging, as it was hard but not hard enough to stop me (although I did have moments of frustration in which I had to work up serious sweat to avoid being seen - usually not because of overly alert guards, though...) from ghosting the whole game - according to the Minimalist ghosting rules of course, as as far as I can tell loot and AI placement make classical, strict ghosting impossible. And the fact the Cradle patients were so ultra-alert only added to the (already high) creepiness factor of that great mission... Damn, now I feel like playing it again.
Great work, New Horizon. I've never played TDS without your mod and I don't think I ever will.

How would you feel about allowing someone else to work on it?

Aja,
It's not the change in AI sensitivity and so forth that i don't like, i do like them. I would just like the ability not to have the objectives change (to Assassin, Ghost, Thief, Cutpurse). That can't be changed in Thiefbot :)
Some times i like playing with the new difficulty levels and sometimes i dont. I believe changing them back to normal requires mucking around with the editor. I did have a poke around, but couldn't figure it out

Changing things back would require putting things back the way they were in the editor and also editing some of the text files in the thief folders. Putting that stuff back would be more of a headache than changing it the first time. :)
With they playstyles you're getting a bit more variety in each one but the same AI difficulty. With the default difficulty levels, I found things to be a bit bland...although the playstyles do impose fewer or more restrictions depending on which one you choose. I usually choose "Thief" myself.

Thankyou for the minimalist project. I am replaying the T3 missions now with it and it is a breath of fresh air. The guards are now very intelligent, the weapons are on the right keys, the objectives very good (no more loot hunting!). I have decided to be more or less a ghost on the Museum, although if things get sticky I can knock them out as I'm on Thief, but it really makes it much better and the levels seem much bigger.
I also like the oldstyle HUD and the best thing has to be the increased door frob and the new colour frob. I hated the way before I had to run into a door to open it.
Could you increase the pickpocket distance though? It is absolutely rubbish at the moment, unmodded, you have to run into someones back if they are walking and hammer RMB!

For anyone who hasn't tried it but is curious as to what it looks like, I have some updated screen shots from the latest revision. A before and after shot is included.
