Could someone please tell me how I can enable 3rd person perspective while playing the minimalist project? I miss it.

It's disabled since Minimalist breaks certain things in Third person but also because Third person shouldn't really be in an immersive Thief game. If you can get past the side effects, all you have to do is go into the INI backup folder and copy the t3camera.ini file back into your system folder so that it overwrites the Minimalist version of the file.

Then you would need to go into the difficulty section and alter the settings for the difficulty level that corresponds to Assassin. I think there may be two or three places where you must do this, its been awhile since I worked on that part of the project.
Thanks a lot, I think I can figure this out now.
Installing the editor will take me a while, but I've already found the wiki - a great resource.

It seems that playing as Assasin is nearly impossible. Sometimes the levels have little scripted events where NPC's fight each other, like the start of the pagan tunnels and the sunken citadel. When one of the factions then see's their fallen friend, the player is credited as being the killer and the mission fails.
Other then that, I love this mod, thief DS is actually not too frustrating for me now.

I have an "optional" request to make, that I think would make T:DS twice the game it is now.
How about this: Remove the effing guards from the City. They are a royal pain in the balls and while the city is already not enjoyable on so many levels, any sort of enjoyment you might have is rendered useless by the guard's presence.
Is this possible either via another release or some other simple mod? Or perhaps leave the guards but destroy their seek n destroy AI?

Thanks, New Horizon!
My own playstyles work like a charm now.

I am playing through the game with minimalist 1.4 installed using the ghost difficulty and seem to have come across a catch 22 in the jacknall's paw mission. In order to get the paw, you need to put a dead body on the alter. In order to get a dead body you have to kill someone. Kill someone and the mission fails. I found an existing body in the level, which was apparently not dead and wouldn't work until sliced with the dagger, also ending the mission. I think I dropped the big gear on top of one of the pagans, but I couldn't find a body there, just a spot of blood. Am I missing something here, or is this mission impossible on ghost?

I'll post a fixed version in a day or two. I'll have to allow for a few deaths. ;)

Took care of that problem. Have allowed for 3 kills in Expert mode.
