Sorry if this is all very confusing.... I'm almost confused myself. :P
In most situations though, there shouldn't be any conflicts.
Yes that was very confusing............but I got it anyways. The main thing is being able to have your very excellent texture packs and Minimalist(which I'm not sure is excellent...yet) together. Thanks for the help,I'll let you know what I think of Minimalist when I'm through.

Could there be a shared maximum amount for all arrows Garret can have?
It would make it more realistic. No slots for each arrow type in your quiver :laff:
The problem could be in the dropping of extra arrows, coz you would always have to shoot them away. Or is it possible to make a button for arrow dropping?
There could also be a restriction that prevents you on taking stuff if you have the maximum amount of them. Now you can pick up stuff to the void, if you have the maximum amount when you pick it up...

I might as well post this here to piss off NH... cause you know he loves it really.
Can anyone slow garrett's arrows down? While they are configured what seems reasonably in t:ds all the levels are so small they basically turn the bow into a pistol.
Back in the day (when i first played through) I heavily configured the game to make it playable, I ended up tweaking the speed that garrett draws his weapons and the speed he draws his bow... but themain problem was teh velocity of the arrow which i never got round to mucking around this. Would it be something simple like making the arrow weight more?

Hmmm, I did intend to look into that. I wanted to try and get the arrows to behave as they did in T1 and 2. Gas and Fire would not be affected by gravity. I'll take another look at that after I've gotten some more work finished on Dark Mod.

I wouldn't mind seeing that, actually. I felt that the arrow trails were somewhat necessary since the arrows travelled so fast, it was difficult to trace their exact path just by watching them.

Has anyone else had this problem with the Minimalist Project? I find that it's harder to mantle -- that is, I can't jump as high as before. There's a stack of 2 crates on the docks (the ones on the dock to the left of the Abysmal Gale) that I cannot mantle up onto at all anymore, but I did it all the time before. I was still able to mantle onto the ones near the pagan sapling, however, and with many attempts I was able to get into the little apartment that's only accessible by jumping onto its balcony, near the entrance to that area of the city. But the 2 crates on the dock, they elude me. I think this also occurred on another stack of 2 crates in another section of the city.

I'll check that out.

Man oh man is the Minimalist project frustrating. I love about half of the changes, and I absolutely despise the other half.
It's not that I don't appreciate what you've done, but I don't want to play YOUR version of T1/2. Why didn't you just post some of these great tweaks in the tweak thread so we could pick and choose rather than relying on your personal vision?
I don't mind tweaking T3 to suit my needs, but my job sucks and I just don't have the time to sit down and figure out how to do some of this stuff on my own.
EDIT: also, uninstalling the minimalist project seems to have brought back the blue footprints in the training level. (I had gotten rid of them on my own before) only now they're brown square footprints. any idea on how to get rid of them?

... post some of these great tweaks ...
Patience, my friend. A good idea eventually. IMHO, it currently seems easier to first build a minimalist project before hundreds of individual tweaks. The minimalist project gives all tweaks a purpose to work together in concert in order to remove bugs and enhance features. Sure convenient when people can play with the same tweaks so they can play the same game. Easier to compare ideas, experiences and problems. Easier to beta test the results for accuracy and common ground. Easier to compare to thief 1/2. Just a thought.

The installer assumes that you're installing into a clean installation for the game and would likely have overwritten your copy of gentrainingfeet.dds in the Pctextures/dynamicallyloaded directory.
You should just need to create a texture with a black alpha channel, name it gentrainingfeet.dds and drop it into that directory. That should take care of it. :) Any problems, let me know.
