Hey, New Horizon, I appologize if I came off as a bit of an @$$ in my last post. I was a bit upset that my training mission got nuked and I couldn't find where to correct it, and couldn't remember how I did it in the first place.

No problem at all. :) I run into the same problem sometimes when I'm trying to find new tweaks late at night and then wake up the next morning with no idea what I did. :D

Is it possible to change the difficulty settings only (I wanted to remove the "Do not get caught at all" objective on ghost because it's really annoying to get the Mission Failed screen every time someone sees me...)? I tried and changed them with the TDSGameSys Editor but now the game crashes every time on start up. Is there something else I'd have to change or is the TDSGameSys Editor just buggy?

I have just finished TDS and I have to say it is great. I also have installed the MP 1.4 and after trying the first mission I think it gives a very high replay value. :thumb:
I got only one question as I don't want to uninstall and reinstall the MP (I am afraid of messing up the game...)
Is the removing of the "lock pick hud" optional or not?

The exe opens up an options window from which you select alterations right?
I don't want to open it and find it automatically changes things. I've never used it before.

Tis not an optional component I'm afraid.

The TDSGameSys Editor is looking for an untouched version of the gamesys. As it stands, the one I have included with Minimalist 1.4 is pretty heavily modified. You would need to use the Thief DS Editor to further alter the gamesys now.

If I remember this properly.
In the actor class browser, you need to go into the info section and poke around the Difficulty info. Ghosting is in the same slot as Expert in the editor. You might need to change the expert difficulty settings in a few places to achieve this.
Oh, and you will also need to enable the packages view. You'll find that in the "view" menu. When you're ready to save your custom gamesys just put a checkmark next to the gamesys package.
Make you you copy the t3gamesys.ini from the thief system directory to the thief edit system directory.
