The trick to jumping in first person is knowing where the center of your character is, and making sure that it is firmly over solid ground when you land. Not that hard.

Looks like Quake 3 meets Lego. On crack. Meh.

I like the fake radiosity they've implemented in the game - you know, the way colours bleed onto adjacent walls. That's not going to convince me to buy it just yet, though, I'm not that much of a graphics whore.
The demo's way too fucking short. I liked what I played, especially the sense of sheer exhilaration once you pick up speed during a run, but is that really all there is to the game?

I love the look of Mirror's Edge, both of the story levels and the more abstract downloadable time-trial levels. In a medium where the aesthetics are more often than not those of a talented 16-year old boy obsessed with muscles and boobs, it's refreshing to see that there are still original designs.

I wouldn't be surprised if said map pack shipped with the PC version, with its "delayed" release and all.

I doubt it'll happen - while I don't share the EA=Devil!!! attitude many have, I don't remember them being very forthcoming with free extra content when they can sell it. If it's good, I'm even willing to pay... :)
