Yeees, which is still a form of telling the player where to go.
Thank fuck for that!

looks like FEAR on rooftops without the automatic guns.
and we all know how open-world FEAR was, lol.
right now it seems to be an arcade jump n' run translated for first person but I couldn't see any powerups...

You know, I'd make fun of you for stupid shit like that but frankly Steo has stolen all the fail today so consider yourself lucky.

I've no problem with the game marking things like that as long as it's not a linear path. ie. Telling me where I
can go rather than where I
should go. If there's more than one way from A to B then marking different approaches isn't so bad, just as long as they don't differenciate between a red climbable pipe and an identical white one that's just scenery.
:edit:
I do wonder how free you'll be in the enviroment, like whether you can get to street level and work your way up, or if you're just resctricted to rooftops.

Oh, I dunno. I'd still prefer if there wasn't any color-codes for anything. It just makes it too easy.

An obviously linear game based on running, jumping, and climbing over things, complete with "Hey, you. Go over here now" level design?
We're talking about Prince of Persia, right? Because I'm pretty sure that one did fairly well for itself.

Well, it's certainly good looking, and the promotional video suggests a good degree of player freedom. So good in fact it makes me want to go outside and parkour.
But I have to keep it real for a sec: I know that it's the promo video stringing along my imagination here. What the game will end up to be is any body's guess at this minute.

It is all in-game footage. And while I'm not expecting a GTA level open-world parkour paradise, since it is story- and objective-driven gameplay, there will certainly be more than one path to every objective. The screenshot Koki linked alone shows at least five different paths from left to right and back again.
