Well yeah, good controls would be nice and all, but I think a compelling story is almost more important. Otherwise the game's just running around on rooftops and kicking the occasional guard. Which is certainly cool, but it'd get old really fast.
It would be cool if the universe was set in the near-future, like in Minority Report, and featured similar themes. (or like Gattaca or something)

In a game based around open environments like this, hand-holding with bright colors is not what I'm after. No thanks.

I don't understand why they do this though. I'm certain that releasing an editor would make the game more popular. UT2004 sold loads more copies on the back of it's mods than just on the vanilla game, I'm sure.
And wtf is up with MS? If they allowed mods and use of FMs for XBox games wouldn't that be a good thing?

It's in the near future and the big brother government has extended to the point where it sees and watches all communication. The only way to get messages under the eyes of the government is to write them down and send them in person. You play as a mail carrier for a resistance movement against the government, basically, running across the city and dodging police and soldiers to deliver messages.
