Mirror's Edge has that Resident Evil feature built in. You know, the one that demands you replay it to see/try various things in order to justify a 5 hour game. That said, they really should have released some story based DLC. I was shocked when they didn't. Hell, are they even working on a sequel?
Story was one of the things people criticised about
Mirror's Edge, both critics and regular gamers. Most people said they would've wanted more simple delivery missions with an emphasis on the racing aspects rather than more story.

It took me 12 hours the first time through. ...Now it takes me like an hour and a half, though. :p

Yeh, I never understood that, as I really enjoyed the story. It fit the visuals oh so well!

Don't tease me like that! That was ages ago.
Although they might still be keeping the embers glowing in DICE somewhere, one significant problem is that the concept's most patient backer - the CEO of EA - just got the arse.

I had read the sequel got scrapped a while ago, but now I don't even remember any details.
BTW, this game has turned out to be one of my more re-played ones. To this day I'll still run one a race track or two when I have some time, along with an rFactor race.

That article I linked was from only 5 months ago, and I didn't see anything dated after that to the contrary after doing a few searches. Unless you guys know something I don't, it still seems like it's on.

If it's not post-'CEO gets the boot' it's impossible to say if it applies.
Remember "We don't want DICE to become a Battlefield factory"? I wager for the time being there'll be no spending on anything that isn't sure fire winner (on paper).

Good, I hope there is a sequel for sure. I didn't think it was going to happen, but I'll be happy to be wrong!

By the way, if ever there were a game crying out for fan maps, it's this one. Even the flawed maps a few fans put out using the Unreal editor were fun... They would have been much better with a dedicated editor. So if I have a wish for a sequel, that'd be a big one.
