Mirror's edge, looks promising. - by Fragony

I would love a ME open world game as long as they kept that amazing white, almost sterile looking city. I really love the visuals in the game, though I suck at the gameplay (only ever made it to that warehouse with all the red dot snipers and catwalks)

Yeah, I really liked this game too..never got very far through it (due to porn etc.) but thought it was great, and it's too late now cause my lcd tv has gone bad :(
Did the editor ever get released in a non-hacked state? Are there any good fan missions? Can't be arsed to google it ;)

I installed it a while back and never made it past the first mission. I must have been in the wrong mood.
I should probably fire it again at some point and give it a real chance.

Gunny how the hell have you never played ME. For the love of god.
Slipped through the cracks. I think I was in the throes of my L4D2 addiction at the time, and it was the only game I had on Origin. Back then, if it wasn't in my Steam list, it didn't exist. I'm sorting it now...

Hey Fafhrd are you still doing the livestream thing?
I might wanna take a look if it's still on. :)

Hah. Oh that ending. The helipad is a such a cool race level. In the game? Jump over some boxes, once.
Good job though

I think you might have missed me making an utter
utter ass of myself dying repeatedly in two rooms of The Boat. I swear it wasn't that hard the last time I did a hard run.
(
http://www.twitch.tv/dkesserich/b/417124270) The full playthrough here. It took me a while to realize that the crazy audio feedback I was getting was because I had the twitch.tv stream open in the background.

Hah. Yeah, I only really caught parts of the end. The Shard car park seemed to go well. I usually mess that up along with the ship. Anywhere there's parked cars is a bad omen. I'll have to have a look.
Mirror's Edge occasionally makes asses of everyone I think. I was watching Nerdcubed's playthrough, and he's quite good, but spent half an hour of edited out time doing the Ship's climb (you know the one) in the most ungainly way I've seen it done and complaining the whole time. Not that that's quite the same thing, but anyway...
