Hi taffers,
I just noticed that the filesize of my mission has suddenly gone up to a massive 250mb, while is used to be about 70mb. I know I can reduce the size by unportalizing the mission but there should be other ways? At least something must've caused the size to go so huge all of a sudden. Optimizing only makes it about 230mb.
I didn't make any massive changes that would make the 250mb obvious.
Here is some info from the information window in Dromed:

Did you change the light settings? Did you somehow duplicate a bunch of brushes? Can you go back to the last normal-sized save and redo the changes to see if it happens again?

check your ligting mode - with everything cranked up to the max (something you shouldn't be doing unless you know exactly that you want to), misions can get really large.

I already saved it as Quick lightning mode and I thought that would override the Lightning Scale option, but I changed the lightning scale to 1 and now my mission is only 40MB. That's more like it! Thanks a bunch guys
