Mission crashes when run through Thief 2

Thief 2 (New Dark) crashes at the point of loading the mission - after clicking ok on the objectives screen but before the menu disappears and the game loads in.

Things I've checked:

* Resources are all present and correct.
* Original game and fan missions load fine.
* Mission loads fine through Dromed.
* Mission description and strings all look correct.

The mission is a new one I've been working on. A version from a few weeks ago worked fine, but I've not done anything weird to it since, just added more architecture.

Tried on a modless Thief 2, no change.

If I use an area brush to isolate half the map, it loads fine. If I isolate the other half, it also loads fine though so I don't think it's any one dodgy piece of architecture or something.

All I can think now is that I've hit a limit that Dromed is fine with, but Thief 2 can't handle... animated lights or some-such perhaps.

Mis file is 114Mb. Is that bad? :p

Edit: Actually that's pretty strange, it was 30Mb just a week or so ago. Apart from architecture and a few new textures and objects, the only thing I've added are tons of animated lights. I'll have to try removing all those candles and see if it helps.

This is way too big. You need to cut it down. I had the same problem some weeks ago.
Resize textures, resize texture scale (bigger is better, 16 is better than 14 or 15), do purge_missing_objs and compress_family all and use dds textures instead of pngs if you can do that. You need to "save" about 25 MB
Don't forget Complete processing.
It will work again.
