Thank you, vurt!
I am very glad to see this successful result in my FM. :D

Does anyone prefer it to the DDFIX water ?
I can see that this water is more smoothly animated, but it still looks like old skool T2 era water, rather than the pretty DDFIX water.

lol...it's the 1.19 patch? :laff: I thought it was something else
It's the 1.19 patch and beyond, and the 2.4 patch and beyond, and the respective DromEd patches to each. Between that and "NewDark", I know which one I'd rather type.

yeah i need to change ani_rate in the .mtl.. i will update the mod so that it will animate more smoothly.
You can change it easily yourself by putting in
ani_rate 60 in the .mtl files.
Edit: download link to updated version in the first post.

I don't know if I'm missing something but the only "enhancement" I can see is that the water just looks green. I suspect that I have either completely missed the point, or was required to make some change to a configuration file in order to see something different to what I'm seeing.
That being said, is there any way to uninstall this patch?
Btw I'm using the latest version of Tfix on a cleaned Thief Gold installation.

Remember that water surfaces can be lightmapped now, so there's something to be said for more opaque water surfaces that can show it off.
