Look over the list, already I've discovered some indie gems I didn't know about. (http://www.moddb.com/games/fonline-2238) FOnline: 2238, a free indie mmo effort in the traditional top-down fallout style anyone? Or maybe a rts/fps hybrid that worked, a la (http://www.moddb.com/games/natural-selection-2) Natural Selection 2? I've been a NS player for years and the effort behind NS2 is entirely community player-base supported. (http://www.moddb.com/games/overgrowth) Overgrowth is another indie title making some noise in the scene. (http://www.moddb.com/games/0-ad) 0 A.D. and (http://www.moddb.com/games/infinity-the-quest-for-earth) Infinity: The Quest for Earth are also catching some eyeballs. Even a few that didn't make the list - (http://www.moddb.com/games/eye) E.Y.E looks fascinating, (http://www.moddb.com/games/mushroom-kingdom-fusion) Mushroom Kingdom Fusion is a concoction of nostalgia, etc.

Check it out. There's bound to be something for a game you own. I got Battlefield 2 recently just to get into (http://www.moddb.com/mods/project-reality) Project Reality. The quality among this crop is high.
