Anybody know some great mods for Thief 1, having trouble finding any. I am looking for mods like texture packs, and game play modifiers.

Did you use the search function to look for some? I just typed 'thief improved textures' and this link was in the top five results.

There are others if you try a few different searches.

It depends on what you would consider a MOD. If you are looking for mods in the sense of what people might do to Quake or Half Life where you can completely make a new game with the engine, then you might be a little disappointed. What I mean by this is that the Dark Engine has its own limitations and it is incredibly tedious to edit.

So to answer your question, YES. There are lots of mods. Nothing that drastically changes the gameplay (correct me if Im wrong).

in their fan mission section they have demo levels which are simply experiments with DromED. They can be very interesting...

but what exactly is meant by "gameplay modifiers"? I know there is an "Ultimate Difficulty Mod", (http://thief-thecircle.com/download.asp?fid=592), for T1 (there's one for T2 also), which is basically a custom gamesys.
