Thanks :thumb:
I finished after quite a few reloads thanks to all the traps. All in all i really liked this one except i found it way too dark in some areas. Guess i should wait and play it at night. Good stuff!

The barbed wire and scuttling spiders were a nice (if repulsive) touch. A well done piece overall, but it was more suspenseful than horrific.
In the absence of any real identification, I failed to realize that the noble was the killer (I blackjacked him from a doorway after I set off the booby-trapped crates). So I played through hoping for a thrilling showdown against a dangerous, brilliant sociopath.
I wasn't all that crazy about the barbed wire, myself. It really annoyed me that Garrett, a skilled and agile thief, can't make it through it without cutting himself to pieces. :weird: Even I can make it through barbed wire in a hurry if need be.

I meant repulsive as a compliment (those bloated chittering spiders always get an arrow if I can manage it). The barbed wire was a nice way to channel the player without invisible walls, which made the presence of actual unseen barriers at bit puzzling.

I think this one needed betatesting!
Nevertheless, I like the mission. I don't mind it's in B&W. It reminds me of a great Hitchcock movie :ebil:
But now I AM annoyed, because I'm not thát far in the game
in the space where there are two mines ....
I don't have enough health to get out of there.
I really needed an armor that I could've thrown downstairs, which would've disabled that second mine.

You do realise you can disarm them with lockpicks, right?
Gloria Creep on 10/6/2007 at 23:44
NO !!!!!??????????????
How am I to get near enough at them, without exploding??

You have a pick on hand and inch closer and closer until the pick can reach it.
Nameless Voice on 10/6/2007 at 23:59
By crawling very slowly towards them until you get into lockpicking range (which is just slightly greater than their triggering proximity)?
