The moment you realise that Karras is also Stephen Russell. - That's the moment that makes Stephen Russell special :) I was surprised too, considering he voiced a bunch of other characters, hammers, servants and Benny as well... Very talented actor :)
And no, I haven't played Limbo, but I've seen the footage of this spider. Creepy.

http://abload.de/img/dump06441l1d.pngWell, this is a weird bug in Thief 1/on my machine and i don´t know how to fix it. Something causes the fire elementals to shoot with a frightening high rate of fire. :p
Maybe i don´t even want to fix this problem, because it doesn´t affect the gameplay and makes Thief harder. I also can frob walking and even alerted apparitions like corpses and place them somewhere else. And don´t forget Garrett, who can jump to amazing speed by spamming the space key until he dies by his own hyperspeed in mid-air (as proven in Ramirez´ Garden).
These funny bugs made me laugh and enjoy the gameplay. Even after years of playing I still can discover new details and funny stuff in these games. :cheeky:

What else did you install? FMs with Darkloader, mods, custom gamesys?

I didn´t install nothing else, I only played Thief 2 FM´s so far (and there I use the standard Fanmission-Selector). The strange behavior of the fire elementals encountered since I "sucessfully" installed Thief 1 by running both ddfix and Tfix years ago (this screenshot is also at least two years old). The only files which are from another game (Thief 2), are named cam_ext and cam_mod (To play with the enhancement pack and correct video settings). But as long as Thief 1 "works fine with the aid of some duct tape", the "engineer" wouldn´t do anything else... :erg:

At, this part in the game I felt serious shock. Not having some dumb video, or cut scene playing and the AI is communicating directly. No game comes close to Thief in how organic everything feels.

Currently playing an Iron Man playthrough of TG, and that can produce some great moments of tension.
When I needed one or two pieces of loot in The Sword but had taken everything I could spot in the "normal" mansion areas, so had to look elsewhere. Was down to low health and knew that the second floor was full of traps and I risked a fireball in the face just by opening a door, or a dart in the back while walking down the corridor.
Or the satisfaction of finally completing a large mission such as Mages Tower or Thieves Guild, after two and a half hours, without dying or being able to rely on quicksaves.

Ironmaning through the Thieves guild is just a great experience:cool:

-Listening to the ambient, like those howling sounds in Lord Bafford's manor.
-Realizing the level is so much vaster than you expected- "Oh god, there's a whole mansion left to explore!"
-Panick-stricken first playthrough of Haunted Cathedral, RTC and Soulforge.
-Connecting the word "compass" to that weird unusable Shuriken in your inventory... well I guess that's not very relatable
