Umm
mmmmm - good point. :tsktsk: :o
I knew I'd forget something...by the way, if you find any Jorge, let me know and I'll get rid of him. :cheeky:
Thanks for your support and sorry about the textures. It's fixed now, as is the PR file. :p

Nice conversion, Preno. Unfortunately i need some help, since i'm currently stuck in both missions and i can't seem to find any references to where i'm stuck in the forum.
Prisoner's Revenge:
I have entered the forbidden area and pressed two buttons so far but after passing a pentagram with some fire in the center of it i come to a door that i can't figure out how to open.
Monastery:
I have the Morning Stone but can't figure out how to get out from where it was. It's seems obvious it has something to do with the lava filled room with the half bridge, but i can't figure it out.
Hope you or someone else can help.

If I remember well (but I only played the T1 version) you just
have to jump. It's a little difficult, but not impossible. ;)
I am stuck in Prisoner's Revenge in the same place as The Elusive One,
at the door beyond the pentagram.
Actually, I can finish the mission without opening that door, but I can get only 539 / 614 loot. There are AI beyond the door, so I assume that there must be a way through it. Help please. :)
BTW, I am playing in "Impossible" mode and have finished the mission with zero damage (other than the required kill). Only need a little loot....

[Anyone]
Yes, me too. Same place.
[Peter]
Where did you get the other 50 loot? I only have 489!
Is there something really sneaky I missed?

I've just started the T2 version. I found all the loot in the original one but I'll have to see what has changed. I noticed that the
blackjack
was removed from the upper prison guardroom chest on Impossible in this version. Was that done intentionally? I checked and it was there in the original version.
Edit:
Okay, my hat's off to you guys who are playing on Impossible. How on earth do you get the key from
the guard in the practice room upstairs in the guardhouse without being spotted? It's driving me crazy! Everytime I even open the door the guards inside both alert.
Help??
Nightwalker on 5/1/2004 at 19:25
Okay, started over on the middle difficulty to get my BJ. :cheeky: I think something may be missing from the new version in the room just past the one with the pentagram in the floor. In the original version
there is nothing to do in that room with the pentagram. Instead, you went past into the room with the stairs up to the metal door and there was a large lever sticking out of the right-hand wall that you flipped to ope that door, which is where you need to go next. However, in this version, I can't find anyway to open that door. Perhaps the lever got removed and wasn't replaced with anything else?
[Folks]
I e-mailed Preno to ask whether he might have accidentally removed that lever, and if not, how the heck do we open the door?
I hope he'll come back here and reveal the new secret!

[Nightwalker]
I couldn't pull off a ghost of that key; every time I opened the door, it alerted one or both of the guards inside, either the archer or the sword guard with the key.
But I opened it from the opposite room (with the stairs), then retreated over by the chest while those two guards searched their room and the hallway.
I got a grumble from the patrolling guard every time he entered the stair room, but he didn't alert. After a while, I moved to the dark corner in the hallway up and left from the door out of the stair room; I waited there for about four minutes, until I could hear the key and archer guards making normal conversation ("what's that smell? smell's like old meat....")
At that point, just wait until the patroller is walking away from you and slip into the room and hook left, into the corner by the practice dummies (the patroller can't see you there because of the angle). Don't close the door, however, or you'll go through the whole thing all over again -- but this time, with you inside the room they're searching! Just wait until the patroller is heading away down the hall, and you can slide up, pick the key, and slide back to your well-lit corner.
(I notice that Peter doesn't seem to be playing on ghost, either. I wonder if he found a way to open that door without alerting the guards; I also wonder if he found a way to ghost the spiders and the haunt!)

Nightwalker is correct, as usual. Yes, the lever is missing and it probably disappearing during the very step of opening a T1 .cow file in T2. As the original lever object doesn't exist in T2, I suppose DromEd must have just deleted it...:erg:
I'm sorry about that, I was testing the mission part by part and then I just didn't feel like playing through it whole once again. Ah well, we learn by the mistakes... I still don't know how to add sound to those carpets inside the second building but I hope that's not much of a problem...:erm:
Anyway, the lever problem should be fixed now - the link is the same, so get it (
http://preno-taffer.webz.cz/files/prison_T2.zip) here (the updated version) (being uploaded now but should be up by the time you read this :) ).
[Edit]Btw. yes, it's possible to get past them as Dafydd said, but to make it easier I changed their hearing slightly.
