This is out on iOS now. Should I buy it?

It looks a lot like that other open-world hack n slash Capcom game, Dragon's Dogma. Which was a game I liked, with some reservations. The critics are praising this game on the iOS, and supposedly it even controls quite good. Looks like co-op is a heavy component tho, is it still worth getting for someone who'd mainly be in it for the SP? Also, it's 14 euros. Quite pricey by iOS standards, but then again I realize that if the platform is ever gonna get any great big "proper" games, gamers are gonna have to start paying reasonable prices for their entertainment.
I'm away from my gaming systems for a couple of days and wanna get something meaty on the iPad to sink my teeth into. Should I get this? Make my mind up for me, TTLG!

Can you play with an on-screen controller or do you have some sort of controller-peripheral for your iPad?
If not, then I doubt you'd enjoy it.
Otherwise all the things I've heard about Monster Hunters should be enough for me to recommend it. As far as I understand it, there's a lot of content that can be done solo, I think you should be able to find 20+ hours of solo content if what I've heard/read about the MH franchise is true. The meat of the game still supposed to be in the co-op, but to me it sounds more like that's for even tougher challenges than what you'd run into in SP.

Nope, don't have a gamepad. Though apparently there's (
http://toucharcade.com/2014/06/12/e3-2014-mfi-game-controller-roundup/) a whole heaping buttload of new ones about to hit the market, so I might pick one up before too long. The Mad Catz crtli one looks good.
Anyway, I ended up buying XCOM EU instead since it's recently dropped to 9 bucks. Might get Monster Hunter later on.
