NO!!
although i've heard the second one with a deeper voice tone used for dragons, i don't want that introduced to the thief series.

I think haunts should have their basic laughter as they are chasing you, but would get these sudden fits of insanity as they attack, and a change in their laughter would reflect that. Also their attacks shouldn't be so close to regular swordfighting, but rather more like mad flailing and strong, two-handed blows that shatter the floor plates as they miss.
Yeah, true. I like the laughter as they chase you, but it would be neat if they shrieked as they strike you. T3 replaced the laughter with shrieks as they give chase, which is a bit weird...

true and with a hammer it would be kind of heavy for being able to do regular swordfighting. although no one really knows what the maximum amount of wait a haunt can hold before he can no longer do everything normally.

Haunts do use regular swords. At least the majority of them. The most ancient ones.

true, i'd forgot about that. but alot of them still use hammers and it would seem strange if two-handed blows from a sword would shatter the floor plates as they missed.

True. Well, sparks could still be flying though. :)

I know that everyone's gonna be calling me a console tard and all that crap but I think that the T3 zombies are better than the zombies from T1/2
The original zombies are scary the first time you encounter them. But when you find out they can barely keep up with you're walking pace and take severel moments to actually attack they just don't seem threatening anymore IMHO. Also the noises they make I found to be more irritating than scary. I like the makeover they were given in T3.
Also I didn't really find much difference in the haunts between the originals and TDS, although I havn't played TDS in a while now

Time to replay, then.
