This poll is more exciting than Euro elections...
Go Burricks! Go!

Mechs (I had an overdose of them in TMA, thank you...)
I'll give the zombies some mercy, but only if the devs at Eidos Monty create them as a combination of the TDP and TDS version (rotten, fleshy, mummified, moaning, hissing, exploding both into chunks and dust, and mainly, FAST, NOT SLOW !).
I think the Mechs did their time in MA.
As did the Mages in Gold.
And the Puppets in the Cradle.
I wouldn't be bothered if I never see the likes of any of them again
And your idea on the zombie is exaclty how I think they should be.
An improved, faster version of the DP ones :thumb:

I've absolutely no use for zombies, haunts, skeletons, treebeasts, apebeasts, craymen or any of the other nasties. I have no problem with spiders, Mech iron beasts, & burricks, though. I've got a feeling that if EM tries to stay true to the Thief saga, there'll be plenty of spooky creatures in T4. :( Seems to be a big fan-base for that kind of thing.

My preferences are largely the exact opposite of yours :laff:
Though the general opinion on TTLG is apparently more on the side of 'more realism' than 'more mystical elements' :nono::p
It seems that burricks at least are a given in T4 :thumb:

Would really like to see Haunts again, but I DONT want to see any damn spiders.

Spiders are a bit overdone in fantasy games anyway. It just depends on what the settings for the missions are, but if there are any underground missions burricks are a must.

Well yes, they more than often serve the role of a "cheap" monster. :p

hellishh haunts!!! :D:cheeky:
About the Burricks...I like them....but when I played thief1 i remembered thinking "These are cool, they move slow and you've got to creep and side walk to avoid them"...but what if there were more agile, jumpy creatures similar to Burricks? Sort of fantasy velociraptors which you've got to avoid and run if they find you...
Dresden on 17/6/2009 at 04:01
Burricks had a large AoE attack though. Agile ones could be interesting.
Hells yes, haunts. And they have to be spewing the creepiest audio ever of course. I think TDS failed on that.
Oh that reminds me: One of the things I think LGS did perfectly was making the AI quiet. At least until you get near them. It leads to them being able to sneak up on you, especially in SS2. And that's half of why The Cradle was so scary after all. You can really notice it in Bioshock because you can hear all the AI from a mile away and it takes tension out of the game.
Just thought I'd mention it...in case Eidos Montreal devs lurk here. :p

No we need spiders just to scare the poo out of everyone that doesn't like them. We dont need fast zombies its isn't left4dead, they dont feed on your brains, they just dont like the fact your living and they're dead, so they have to make you one of them. We also need some flys to buzz over dead corpses, or piles of doggie poo, or both.
