Weird. I wonder if not showering and going to the toilet has interesting consequences later in the game. Nothing turns off attackers quite like pissing all over them when they squeeze you too hard.

So excuse my ignorance, is this game just a series of quick-time events?
Pretty much. Same thing they did With Indigo Prophecy/Fahrenheit, but this looks like a much better implementation.
But Quantic Dream is pretty clear that they don't make video games, usually opting for other, more accurate terms like "interactive movie."

It is, but it's about how the story plays out it's much deeper then you think, no it isn't really a game button-pressingly speaking, but it's awesome and I am one happy PS3 owner at the moment, until Alan Wake gets released that is.

man, this is going to be a game I'll only be able to play when I'm certain no one's at home

If the story doesn't go balls up halfway through the game and the quicktime events aren't retarded simon says that have little rhythm or correlation with what's going on screen, this might be really awesome.

It's a movie game to the masses, but to other games its big selling point is the animation.
I enjoyed the intro purely from the attention to details in the animation. It's not graphically superior by any means, but heavily graphic games like crysis are often unnatural and repetitive with their animation.

Looks good enough for me, and I am really in for something different anyway.

It's certainly not up there with Crysis in terms of graphics tech in general, but after playing the demo, I don't think there's a game out there which does lighting and facial detail as well. I'm pretty impressed with the art direction on the whole. They managed to evoke that smoky film noir feeling really well.

Ya, also love how they do nudity without making it trashy, no oversized boobs or any of that, classy. Looks like a great mature adventure title. I hope it sells well the death of adventure-gaming on pc has to be one of the greatest losses ever, consoles don't usually cater that niche audience, having something with these production values is a godsend.

I have been waiting for a new Dragon's Lair for some time now.
