MADISON FUCK YEAH ™So, yeah, it's around the corner, guess it's time to start scoping out a PS3 deal. There's a couple of games out there that I'm more or less interested in, but I haven't really seen them in current bundles. The pain in the ass is I think that, as far as PS3 games go, I'm more interested in stuff yet to be released than what already has been.

Like what, out of curiosity?

Well duh, half the excitement is hype. Once the game comes and you see it in a realistic light, the hype goes away and it's onto the next hyped up game.

Off the top of my head, the Last Guardian looks very interesting, and everyone seems to be creaming themselves over how fun God of War is. If Sony starts re-releasing PS2 games for the PS3, Shadow of the Colossus seems to have made an impression around the net. Odd, I was quite sure I had a bunch of stuff, but now I'm scratching my head. I may have to get back to you on that, maybe it'll come to me later. I hate mornings.

They aren't going to drop in price very soon, so you might as well get one now. Plenty of good titles on budget nowadays, it's totally worth it.

Oh yeah, I'm definitely planning on having the thing by HR's release. I was considering waiting for a possible HR bundle, but then again even if they did make one I'd be shocked if it wasn't with the more expensive 250GB PS3, which I'm not interested in. That, and the apparent lack of a Brutal Legend bundle, means I'll likely get a regular 120GB for £250, and try to shave off some of that miserable markup for console games by preordering HR. That I want to get my hands on as soon as possible, and from then on I'll likely go bargain bin or maybe second-hand.

I must admit, while I consider
Indigo Prophecy to be one of the worst missed opportunities of gaming history - I thought they did some amazing things for the medium and progressed it in a way that I haven't seen attempted better yet. I'll give these guys another turn, just as long as old people don't turn into sentient AIs and homeless people aren't the basis for a secret society.
edit: also, no necro-sex please.
