Seems that Bioware's marketing department has grown the fuck up in recent months. See the (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/launch-trailer-mass-effect/61043) new launch trailer - no Marilyn Manson nor Nine Inch Nails scoring and no cheesy B-action film-esque one-liners like "bad ass biotic bitch".

I watched the recent (http://www.gametrailers.com/video/n7-developer-mass-effect/60951) N7 featurette, glad that I did. It answered my lingering question of how they've addressed the extremely content lite, highly repetitive exploration/side-quests from ME1.

Yeah, but so far as I am aware they haven't said what the default actions (for a new build) will have been for those though.

Apparently playing as a Renegade makes your PC look like a Dark side user, a la KotOR or Fable. *Shrug* Yeah, because that makes any lick of sense in the context of ME's fiction universe. :rolleyes:

IIRC, the glowing ones and shit are supposed to highlight a biotic's implants, kinda like Saren from the first game. If so that raises the question of whether that will happpen if you're using a class without implants (i.e. non-biotic users) like Soldier, Infiltrator or Engineer.

I assume as well that most of the ME1 will end up as 2 lines of dialogue in ME2. I'd be surprised if they really went wild with it, e.g. saving the rachnid gets you a whole exclusive story arc in ME2 you won't experience at all if you destroyed the queen and vice versa if you saved it you will have to e.g. fight disgruntled survivors of the rachnid war or whatever

anyways, after the very good DragonAge:Origins and the last, excellent trailers I'm pumped.

Awesome! I was interested because of the DRM implications for the debate over the PC, but please keep us posted on what else you won't be doing!
