i don't know which planet I launched probes into, there are so many and there is so much to research ;)
why ? any special side mission you get there ?
It's great! The only problem is the noxious gases that it emits. Stay away from the polyps, they are supposedly cancerous. Oh, bring a flashlight. It's dark as shit...

The game just turned up from Play.com, and atm Im reading all the info about the classesd and anything else that will prolong the game play...
Question:
Regarding bioware points, what do they actually let me obtain and is there a list of all the items and the BW cost..?

Premium DLC (none for ME2 yet AFAIK, but there is Warden's Keep for Dragon Age).

Have a browse of (
http://social.bioware.com/). Bioware points aren't a big rip off like MS Points. (eg No having to buy 1000 MSP to buy something costing 800 MSP, everything costs exact amounts in regards to BWP.)

Hmmm, so its possible I might finish the game before any DLC content becomes available... and Ive have a look around the above site, nothing is listed thus far...
Talking of the above website my gamer take on there is ' b1k3rdude ' if anyone wants to link up etc..

There's free DLC available immediately I think. Login to your EA.com account from in-game and then redeem your Cerberus Network Card code.

Yes, there is free DLC available. One mini-mission, One complete NPC, and a variety of equipment pieces depending on the version you got, where you got it, ect.
The equipment isn't all that great though - you can't use any additions to the armor, so it's base bonuses are all you ever get. No customization of look, either.

Anyone else finding the UI on the PC rather clunky and unintuitive?
Phatose on 29/1/2010 at 01:44
That's an understatement.
Things like needing to select an option then click accept instead of just double clicking it, and the bullshit escape-then-hit-leave-orbit to go from mining to space map instead of double-escape. It's unpolished.
Considering ME1....well, probably should've expected that. Guess bioware had their PC guys on dragon age most of the time this was being developed. Sure feels like it.

what....? bioware always sucked in that departement. I would say ME2 is a big improvement and now they are ... average instead of insultingly bad. But you must agree that the combat is awesome (as long as you ignore the bad cover system)

That's kind of like saying Mario Bros is awesome as long as you ignore the jumping system.
