Still, nice mod....hmmm.....might do a longplay at some point soon (ME then ME 2).
Fun times :)
With these script mods it's not uncommon for the "authors" to be a little overzealous and thus make changes that may break deliberate balance or completely disable certain features without good reason.
Eg the Thief 3: Minimalist Project instantly comes to mind. I.e. Out-right disabling the
optional 3rd person view? Come on, that was completely needless change.
That one point regarding changing ME2's health behaviour instantly killed my interest in the mod, which had an otherwise very attractive feature list. But I suspect that this mod only changes the coalesced.ini, so I maybe able to go and change the value myself. I've already done so to turn off bullshit like mouse smoothing, framerate smoothing and mouse dampening.
EDIT:-
Ah-ha! Affected value found.

i never used medigel as well, and I did not use it with this mod. having shields not block biotics make insane much more balanced imo although I just played past the first collector encounter. Flash did the full combat rebalanced mod for TheWitcher and this one made the game very hard although fair. I'll give the "unmodded" mod a go first. although I doubt I will find the time with Alpha Protocoll on the horizon.

I played ME2 similar to how I would ME1, park my dumbshit AI squadmates behind cover and then use their offensive powers. I choose squadmates that compensate for powers and abilities that my character's class lacks. Eg I always had Miranda in my party because of her Overload and Warp abilities, making her effective against taking down the works:- shields, biotic barriers and armour. Also her later unlocked biotic Slam ability (acquired after completing her loyalty mission) was occasionally useful for insta-killing single targets who are running around without any protection. Jack was another favourite of mine because her unstoppable Shockwave ability could send a cluster of several unprotected enemies flying to their deaths.
Even so the AI, just like in ME1, the thick as shit squadmates still had the occasional tendency to leave cover and charge head first into enemy gunfire and thus get themselves killed. This is where I would use medigel. Considering that this would sometimes happen quite often (eg when battling the thresher maw boss during Grunt's loyalty mission), I would in some situations use a lot of medigel. To be fair though I never depleted all of my stock.

Free horse armour for the new PS3 version, for a limited time.

Anyone else getting tired of the whole "horse armor" comparison everytime some DLC is released that isn't a 'mission', additional areas, or whatnot?

Where did that reference come from anyway? I'm going to guess oblivion, I think i saw something about getting horse armour on the box of one of the expansions.

Yeah, it was Oblivion. Yeah, it was a warranted meme. Yeah, I'm sick of it anyway.
