It'll come as no surprise that this is right up my street. I really like it.
I'm a bit of a lo-fi electronic exploration at the moment (look up Adam Marshall - Tool for early Chicago) so this was bit too techy and industrial for me at the moment.
GBM - have you tried doing any "simpler" tracks? Stuff that has fewer sound layers? I'd like to hear that coming out of uelekevu.
I'm a huge fan of Noid's stuff. Tintagel Ruins, Flexsys cefn druids and Forsagil still do it for me bigtime. The kick-in on Forsagil at 2.15 is just... drool.

Good one! I like the beat and the 03:00 mark made me LOL. :)
I like music but I have no idea how it's made so I'm just gonna agree with Kuuso's suggestion of "fuck genres".

(I have always wanted henke to make an animated video for Boombox Saint, actually)
Oh man if I still made animated videos I might've done that! I like it, it sounds like something from Beastie Boys' "The Mix-Up" album. :D

I keep meaning to listen to this, but nothing quite screams "stay away" like "hey I wrote a song in a genre I don't particularly like or pay attention to"
(although I actually do plan to listen to it :D)

Listened to it!
All in all pretty great--unsurprisingly, gunsmoke has no idea what he's talking about--although I could have done without an otherwise impressively moody track being suddenly gatecrashed by the Beastie Boys sticking their wangs in the mashed potatoes.
Seriously, this seemed so out of place that I checked my PC to make sure I didn't have something else misfiring in the background.

Man, and I thought the Beasties samples were the only good part.

I don't what to call that. It's not busted up enough for dubstep (although it's a pretty broad category it seems), but it's busted and then straightens up nicely. Reminds me of something Faultline might do if he wanted to get funky.
It's cool. Some bits about the production and elements seem a bit airy and amateurish. Sounds harsh and vague all at once but I can't think of another way to put it. I don't know how to fix it, or if it's even a problem really, so why am I mentioning it? Good question.
Otherwise it's cool. I liked the vocal samples too. Dunno where to take it from here, but carry on.

Except - maybe - Leekspin.
