1: Will Monsters respawn?
2: Will the dungeons be set maps in Multi? Or will they be random?
3: Will your character be required to "eat" in the game?
4: Will character be able to be poisoned or Paralized?
5: Will characters be able to make potions and such via alchemy equipment? And if so what kind of potions will be available?
6: It has been stated that Magic will be rune based, but will it require anything else such as Reagants? Will Mana come back over time?
7: How many "Levels" deep persay will Arx be?
8: What will be the level cap for characters in the game?
9: Will characters have need of light sources (Like in UW) or will the enviorment provide enough?
10: One of the things that I loved so much about UW was the fact I could do so many things...combine spider silk with a stick and get a fishing pole, type stuff. Will players be able to interact with their enviorment to the degree they were able to in the UW games?
11: Will there be "get key open door" type puzzles in Arx? Or will it be more action oriented?
12: Last question for now...=) When will we be seeing some new screenshots? ;P

Hi Lady E,
There are many questions here, and I hope you'll excuse me if I don't give you a precise answer for each of them, as they go very much into details, but here is what I can tell you:
Monsters will respawn 'scenarically', which means that there is a definite amount of them, there is no random respawn. The reason to this is that it gives us better control on the game tweaking and Xpoints.
There are a lot of objects combinations such as make an apple pie, by combining dough with a rolling pin, then with apple, then using the combined object on a oven, you can then decide to eat the apple pie, or to sell it to a shop. Some of these object combinations are required to finish the game because they are part of a puzzle, some others are just there for the players who want to try things out and have fun, like in a 'real' world.
So, about the puzzles vs action question, it is clear that 'object using' and 'thinking' are very important elements in Arx, also we're trying to keep a lot of variety in the style of puzzles, not only lever / key / pressure pad kind of thing. Action is used when needed (like in combats for example).
