Morrowind... should I keep at it?

There is no high elf alchemist in Balmora; there is a khajiit alchemist and an orc one. Can't remember what gear Ajira (the khajiit) has but there is an imperial in Vivec who has pretty decent gear you can steal as I recall.

You must not have played Morrowind for a while, Pisces! Though I haven't either, and I find myself having to search for answers online more and more often. Anyway, there is a High-Elf Alchemist in Balmora. She sells diamonds and stuff.

Oops sorry. I was confused by you mentioning the gear at the top of the caldera tower and so I was thinking in context of mage's guilds.

Thanks all for the kind help. I happened to be browsing for Morrowind mods just now, before stopping by to check on my thread... I was trying to find... you guessed it... "no missing" mods (no luck so far), but while I'm at it, I have a few questions:

What are the best mods? Ive gone through a few massive lists, but Im afraid of having too much running at once, collecting too many junky ones (since I dont know which ones are essential and good), causing compatibility problems, etc.

Are there some "essential" and "great" mods that a Morrowind player MUST have? I was thinking of adding an Economy/Bank mod so that I could take out a loan, buy some gear, and kill those 2 rats.

Additionally, I downloaded 2 sound packs that someone said were must-have, and one or two other minor things (still trying to find a working link to Marksman Mod... sounds good)

Yes, I've decided to stick it through and try my luck with whatever spare time I can muster. I'm done with Guild Wars now (almost launched it out the window after reaching Level 20 only halfway through the game, then finding out it was the limit... no fault of my own).

And should I get Tribunal or Bloodmoon?
